Claude Lazy Starter

Stop losing Claude hours while you sleep

Your usage window only starts once you send a message. Claude Lazy Starter opens it the moment it refreshes, so the five hour clock runs through the early morning instead of the middle of your workday.

A window refreshing at 8:00 am

Started automatically at refresh, ending at 1:00 pm, ready before you sit down.

  • Active window

One window, or two. The difference is who starts it.

On your own you only ever use the single window you start by hand. Lazy Starter opens one the moment it refreshes, so you finish that window and a fresh one opens right behind it. Across your working hours that is close to double the usage.

Without Lazy Starter

The window sits idle until you start it, and that one session is all you get.

With Lazy Starter

It starts a window while you sleep. You finish that one, and a fresh one opens right behind it.

Set it once, then leave it alone

  1. 1

    Connect your account

Link your own Claude web account once. The session is used only to send a short message that opens a window, never to read or move your work.

  2. 2

    Turn on automatic activation

Flip one switch. From then on it watches your usage window and needs nothing else from you. There are no hours to set and nothing to schedule.

  3. 3

Always sit down to a running window

The moment a window ends, it sends a quick hi to start the next one. So whenever you come to work, this window still has time left and a fresh one is already queued behind it.

Questions worth answering first

What does Claude Lazy Starter actually do?

It watches for the moment your Claude usage window refreshes and starts a session for you by sending a short message. Because a window only begins once you send something, starting it early means the five hour clock runs during hours you were not going to use anyway.

Why would I want my window to start while I sleep?

A usage window lasts a fixed length once it opens. If it refreshes at eight in the morning but you do not start until noon, those four hours are lost. Starting the window at refresh time shifts that time back toward your working day.

Does this use the Claude API?

No. It works with your own Claude web account through browser automation. Nothing here calls the API or sends your work anywhere; the activation message is a single short line to open the session.

Is my account information stored anywhere?

This build is single tenant and runs against your own account. Your settings and activation history are stored locally. A real session is kept on your own machine, never handed to a third party server.

Can I control when it activates?

It is intentionally simple. With automatic activation on, it starts a fresh window the moment the last one ends, so a window is always running. You can change the short activation message, turn automatic activation off, and start a window by hand from the dashboard whenever you like.

Reclaim the morning you already paid for

Connect your account, turn on automatic activation, and let the window start itself. There is always time waiting, whenever you sit down.
